What does every salesman do? They sell. And how do they do it? They persuade.
Persuasion sales is a marketing strategy wherein you use some techniques that will induce a new set of beliefs for the person you are trying to sell your product to.
When we talk about persuasion, it is a way of communication with others where you present your side of the story and present it in a way where the other person would share your beliefs too.
Persuasion sales, obviously, is where you learn the right way to talk or relate with a potential customer. You would know exactly what to say in any given scenario- you’ll know when to pause, when to raise your voice and how to control your tone and inflection.
There are also some persuasions sales programs that would teach you why a good salesman knows the importance of a person’s emotions in sales.
Persuasion sales is all about listening to your customers. It’s also about offering solutions to their problems. Most salesmen go wrong when they think that to close a sale, you need to be talkative and serve as a big ball of energy.
Persuasion sales teaches you that the more you listen to the needs or problems of your potential customers, the easier it would be for you to find a selling point that you can use to entice the customer to buy or purchase your products or services.
Each person who buys your products has a unique set of “triggers” that would cause them to say YES to your sales pitch. But a general rule or trigger is that most people decide on buying something based on their emotions.
Once you know exactly what these triggers are and how you can use them, you’d be a great salesman in no time.
